From the moment they wake up to the moment their heads hit the pillow again, their day is consumed with school, after-school activities, chores and homework. When they have some free time from these responsibilities we want them to spend quality time with the family.
It is vital that we teach the younger generations to take time for themselves, pause, look within and check in with their emotional and physical well being.
Through breathwork, body movement and meditation practices our goal is to teach the kiddos tools they can use to regulate their emotions during periods of chaos; resulting in less tantrums, mood swings and panic attacks.
Yoga is a practice, with no true way to measure progress.
The goals of emotional wellbeing and a regulated nervous system cannot be measured physically, but rather felt in the small stressful moments we experience on a daily basis. There is no "right" or "wrong" way to practice yoga, and there is no being "good" or "bad" at it.
We want to provide them with an activity where the only goal is to feel good and the only expectation is to feel calm and at home in their bodies.
